Apprenticed to composition liner, Peter Newman in London in 1973.
Over 30 years experience in this field providing a comprehensive lining and panel-treatment service for other conservation and restoration practices. Moved to Scotland to establish Nick and Lucy Wright, Picture Restorers in 1994.
Became a Fellow of BAPCR in 2004.
Lucy Wright
Graduated in Fine Art - Drawing and Painting from Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen in 1981.
Gained Post Graduate qualification in Conservation of Fine Art - Oil Paintings from Gateshead Technical College (University of Northumbria) in 1983.
Ten years employment as a conservator restorer for a busy practice specialising in ceiling and wall paintings before relocating to Scotland in 1994 to establish Nick and Lucy Wright, Picture Restorers.
Became a Fellow of BAPCR in 2004.
